Chimaera provides this marketplace as a community tool only. We do not facilitate, mediate, or guarantee any transactions. All sales, trades, and meetups are conducted at your own risk. Chimaera and its affiliates are not responsible for lost, stolen, or misrepresented items.
What is the Marketplace?
The Chimaera Marketplace is a community listing board where users can post cards they want to sell or trade. It connects buyers and sellers, but Chimaera does not participate in or oversee any transactions.
Your Responsibility
- You are solely responsible for verifying the authenticity and condition of any cards before purchase
- You arrange payment, shipping, or meetups directly with the other party
- You assume all risk associated with the transaction
- You should use secure payment methods that offer buyer/seller protection
What Chimaera Does NOT Do
- We do NOT process payments
- We do NOT hold funds in escrow
- We do NOT verify card authenticity or condition
- We do NOT mediate disputes between users
- We do NOT guarantee delivery or shipping
- We do NOT provide refunds or compensation for failed transactions
Safety Tips
- For local meetups, choose public places like card shops or cafes
- For shipped items, use tracked shipping with signature confirmation
- Use payment methods with buyer protection (PayPal Goods & Services, etc.)
- Be wary of deals that seem too good to be true
- Check the seller's rating and reviews before transacting
- Take photos/videos when packing and unpacking shipped items
Prohibited Items
- Counterfeit or replica cards
- Stolen merchandise
- Items you don't actually possess
- Non-card items (this is a TCG marketplace only)
Account Suspension
Users who repeatedly receive negative feedback, are reported for fraud, or violate these terms may have their marketplace privileges suspended or their account banned.
By using the Chimaera Marketplace, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the marketplace features.
